- Flower Power team continues to beautify the streets with flourishing flower gardens
- Comprised a low interest revolving loan through 7 local banks valued up to $350,000
- Provided vision for the completion of the Veteran's Parkway Mural Project and was a vital part in its planning
- Provided many opportunities for Alternative School students to gain valuable experience
- Filled Roehl truck to aid victims of Katrina

- Hub City Days brings thousands along Central for car show browsing,
live music listening, impulsive shopping, food munching and more!
- Holiday Parade and Reindeer Day bring holiday spirit to the community
- Hot Time in the City creates a great atmosphere for socializing
with business contacts from the community
- Tuesday Farmer's Markets are growing to be bountiful for all
- Art on the Avenue/Chalk Art Competition
- Customer Appreciation Evening honors valued shoppers of downtown
- Christmas and Valentine's Day Carriage rides along the Avenue:

Future Goals
- Facilitate planning and preparations for the reconstruction of Central Avenue
- Implement new downtown brand as a new marketing strategy
- Work with City to revitalize major underutilized properties in
downtown
- Develop a recruitment package to obtain dynamic businesses that
will enhance the downtown experience
- Find/Develop better funding sources for building rehabs, new
development, and overall program
